Job Summary:

As a Lead Software Engineer in Corporate Technology, you will play a pivotal role in an agile team dedicated to building secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You will deliver critical solutions across multiple technical areas, supporting our business objectives. Your expertise will help shape the future of our technology landscape, and you’ll foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, and respect. Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
  • Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability
  • Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams
  • Drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs and technical credentials
  • Lead communities of practice to promote new and leading-edge technologies
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages – Java / Spring boot / React
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Skilled in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems
  • Practical cloud native experience

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle/Elasticsearch
  • Familiarity with Cypress or similar front-end testing tools
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
