As a Product Director in Treasury Services – Emerging Rails- Payments, you lead innovation through development of a wide suit of instant settlement products with value-added features that delight businesses and their consumers alike. As a leader on the team, you would bring in your entrepreneurial mindset and design thinking capabilities to transform B2C (Business to Consumer) payments experiences, help drive business growth and volumes while maintaining a strong grounding in the bank’s risk and control frameworks
Job responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability, assuming responsibility for the Product P&L and driving high-quality growth in the alternative rails portfolio
- Define the vision, global strategy and roadmap for the alternative product line, considering the growing ubiquity of emerging payment rails
- Take proactive initiatives in identifying new opportunities to go grow the product through market discovery, develop business cases, advocate for internal investment, define and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of product managers; foster best practices in product management
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, including planning, execution, risk management
- Manage executive stakeholder relationships, regularly communicating product strategy, progress, and performance to senior management
- Independently handle product-related conversations with institutional clients, representing the bank’s interests and expertise
- Represent JPMorgan in industry forums and drive market advocacy efforts to transform the payments landscape
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance) to ensure a robust risk and controls environment and a resilient and stable platform
- Partner with technology teams on a multiyear strategic roadmap, guiding products from concept through delivery and post-release
- Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation and enhancement to achieve business objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience with a strong track record of ownership and accountability for Product P&L and Business Growth
- Familiarity with payment rail buying behavior of institutional clients across use cases of varied client segment
- Corporate, Banks, Non-Bank FIs, Payments Fintech and Innovation Economy
- Fundamental understanding of clearing house rules and card scheme networks
- Global mind-set to strategize for international expansion of products; thought leadership in area of emerging payments
- Experience in driving collaboration with global, cross-cultural teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, including presenting strategy and performance updates to senior executives
- Basic understanding / relatability to Software Development Life Cycle with Agile methodologies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience of leading strategic product initiatives in Payment Fintechs will be a plus.
