Data Visualization Associate
Join the Marketing Growth & Innovation team in Card Services, where you help drive impactful business growth and shape the future of customer engagement within Chase's consumer banking.
As a Data visualization associate within Operations, Activation and Transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of data-driven Operations Analytics/Reporting. You will work closely with marketing execution and data teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and oversee the development and deployment of data and analytics products. You will be responsible for ensuring that these products align with business objectives and deliver actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with marketing and data teams to understand business needs and objectives
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for data and analytics products
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications
- Design and develop data models, data pipelines, and data visualization dashboards
- Work with developers and engineers to implement and test data and analytics products
- Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure that products meet user needs
- Maintain strong controls across the data processes and reporting
- Provide ongoing support and training to users of data and analytics products
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and insights
- Develop and maintain documentation for data and analytics products
- Stay up-to-date on emerging data and analytics technologies
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor's Degree along with 4+ years of hands on experience as data analyst
- Experience in data analytics utilizing advanced SQL using large-scale enterprise database platforms such as Teradata and Oracle required
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques (Alteryx, Tableau, Snowflake)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Access and Excel skills for data analysis
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with AI integration
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Possess strong relationship skills and ability to collaborate across organizational levels
- Frequently resolve complex assignments independently and ensure projects are completed according to established timelines
- Maintain consistent communication, both written and verbal, with team and business process owners with regards to the progress of development efforts
- Eagerly work in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly dynamic environment with a strong desire and aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Demonstrate proficiency with sourcing and compiling data from a tool with Extract / Transform / Load (ETL) capabilities such as Alteryx, Trifacta, Ab Initio or R
- Creating and deploying reports with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool such as Tableau or Qilk
