As a valued member of our Commercial & Investment Banking Payments Applied AI/ML team, you will be at the forefront of our firm-wide initiatives to innovate and enhance banking operations. Your contributions will be instrumental in transforming the operational dynamics of our Payments teams, directly influencing the management and functionality of our corporate and investment banking services.

As an Applied AIML Engineer within our Corporate and Investment Banking Payments Applied AI/ML team, you will work in close coordination with various cross-functional teams such as Operations, Product, and Technology. Your role will involve designing and implementing AI-promote solutions that boost operational efficiency and foster business innovation. Leveraging your expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning, you will develop state-of-the-art applications that simplify processes and yield tangible business outcomes. Your valuable contributions will play a pivotal role in transforming our operations, ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of the financial industry.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Developing and Delivering AI Solutions: Write and deliver high-quality code for AI-driven payments initiatives, ensuring robust and efficient solutions that meet business objectives.

  • Collaborate Cross - Functionally: Work closely with Operations, Technology, and Product teams to address and solve complex problems, leveraging AI and ML technologies.

  • Partnering with Global Team: Collaborate with global team members and leaders to deliver innovative solutions while fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.

  • Reviewing Code and Application Design: Conduct thorough code reviews and design new applications and services with a focus on reusability and scalability.

  • Managing Codes end to end: Own and manage the entire code lifecycle, from development through to production deployment, ensuring seamless integration and operation.

  • Maintaining Code Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and readable code that adheres to best practices and industry standards.

  • Engaging with Stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders in an agile manner to develop, demonstrate, and iterate on deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs.

  • Communicating on Projects: Provide clear and concise updates to project managers and program teams, ensuring transparency and alignment on project progress.

  • Estimating Accurately: Deliver clear and realistic time and resource estimates that are critical for effective project planning and delivery.

Testing Comprehensively: Ensure code quality through proper unit test coverage and support both functional and automated testing processes to guarantee reliable and high-performing solutions.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :

  • Minimum 8 years of industry experience

  • BE – Computers / IT or equivalent

  • Projects delivery in AIML space for minimum 3 years

  • Tech stack – python, pandas, flask, fastAPI, tensorflow, LLMs etc.
