Joining our team means you’ll have the opportunity to lead high-profile transactions, mentor junior bankers, and contribute to the growth and success of the SRI initiative.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to advance the marketing and execution process.
  • Refine and enhance marketing and execution materials to maximize client impact and communicate the strategic value of SRI investments.
  • Oversee the creation and review of detailed financial projection models and valuation analyses.
  • Identify, assess, and manage financial, legal, and reputational risks associated with complex transactions.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties—including lawyers, accountants, and counterparties—to ensure seamless transaction execution.
  • Lead client negotiations, Q&A processes, and management interviews, representing J.P. Morgan’s expertise and commitment to the SRI initiative.
  • Mentor and train junior bankers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and ideas concisely and persuasively to senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis.
  • Strong understanding of the transaction cycle and the ability to manage projects independently, assuming a high level of responsibility within a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines, synthesizing large amounts of information to develop innovative solutions.
  • Professional maturity and confidence in client interactions, negotiations, and presentations.
  • Excellent understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks, with a commitment to upholding J.P. Morgan’s standards of integrity and excellence.
