Principal Architect - ServiceNow/Cloud

We are looking for a leader to take us to the next level as a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase. Take the reins of a specific area of architecture and make a meaningful impact at one of the world’s most influential companies.

As a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Digital Workflows Product Line, you lead across multiple areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across both business and technical domains in the Architecture function to execute critical initiatives of the function. Your expertise is applied cross-functionally to drive the adoption and implementation of technical methods within various teams and aid the firm in remaining at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advances.

Job responsibilities

• Leads multiple architecture and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide architecture objectives
• Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus
• Provides leadership and high-level direction to teams while frequently overseeing employee populations across multiple platforms, divisions, and lines of business
• Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives while driving consensus across competing objectives
• Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations
• Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience in Enterprise / Solution architecture in development and or infrastructure organizations
• Service Now advanced certifications (CTA, CMA, etc.)
• Java, Database, Data Warehouse experience
• Ability to “think big” and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• AWS experience is preferable
• Financial Services experience
