Job summary:

As an Executive Director for Asset & Wealth Management Global Private Bank Operations, you will lead multi-site teams and own end-to-end service delivery and outcomes across critical operational functions. You will partner with senior leaders to define and deliver a scalable operating model that balances client experience, quality, controls, and risk. You will lead a multi-year agenda across workforce strategy, training, coaching, and career development to build a high-performing organization. You will drive digital transformation initiatives that improve accuracy, speed, and outcomes while reducing manual effort and operational risk. You will strengthen governance, transparency, and resilience through disciplined issue management, operational metrics, and tested continuity playbooks.

Job responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver a multi-year operations strategy aligned to business priorities and regulatory expectations.
  • Design and evolve a scalable target operating model including capacity, coverage, escalation, governance, and location strategy.
  • Standardize processes through common procedures, controls, playbooks, and training across locations.
  • Own end-to-end service delivery across middle office, cash operations, settlements, client services, mortgage operations, client onboarding, fraud remediation, and quality control.
  • Operate a consistent quality and remediation model, including standards, defect taxonomy, calibration, and corrective actions driven by root-cause analysis.
  • Lead fraud and customer-impact remediation with strong documentation, clear timelines, and cross-functional partnership to ensure durable closure.
  • Deliver transformation initiatives that deploy digital solutions and simplify processes to reduce exceptions and rework.
  • Maintain a strong first-line control environment, including procedures, evidencing standards, and control monitoring routines.
  • Build senior stakeholder relationships and translate operational insights into prioritized roadmaps and outcome-based reporting.
  • Define metrics and operating cadences that drive accountability for quality, productivity, turnaround time, client satisfaction, and key risk indicators.
  • Lead a large, multi-site organization by strengthening talent pipelines, coaching, inclusion, and operational resiliency.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services.
  • Minimum 5 years in senior leadership managing large, multi-site teams and complex operations.
  • Proven delivery across operational domains relevant to private banking operations with strong client service outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success leading digital transformation and automation with measurable impact.
  • Strong control discipline and experience ensuring audit and exam readiness.
  • Excellent judgment and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong program management skills, including prioritization, governance, and execution under tight timelines.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Continuous-improvement mindset with strong execution focus.
  • Understanding of regulations impacting private banking and client service operations, including onboarding obligations.
  • Hands-on experience applying artificial intelligence or machine learning in service operations (e.g., inquiry triage, assisted resolution, analytics).
  • Ability to frame complex problems, challenge the status quo, and implement scalable solutions.
