As the Head of Internal and Executive Communications Vice President within Consumer and Community Banking you will support the JPMorgan Chase Marketing Communications team shaping and elevating internal and executive communications across the firmwide Marketing team. In this role, you will partner closely with the External Communications Vice President, Marketing, report to the Head of Communications for Marketing, Product and Technology, and work alongside the Marketing executive team and Internal Communications partners to deliver 360-degree integrated programs that engage employees, align leadership, and reinforce our brand and business priorities. Guided by customer insights and analytics, the Marketing team leads firmwide impact, communications and engagement, always focused on what matters most to our clients and communities. By empowering cross-functional teams and moving quickly to keep pace with the market, we build strong brands and deliver innovative solutions for everyone we serve.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the internal and executive communications strategy for Marketing, bringing a modern, authentic voice to leadership messaging and employee engagement programs.
  • Design, produce, and execute Marketing’s global town halls and leadership forums end-to-end, including agenda development, content and visual storytelling, production, stakeholder alignment, and post-event measurement.
  • Serve as strategic communications counsel to the Chief Marketing Officer and Marketing leadership, crafting speeches, talking points, executive emails, video scripts, and Q&A.
  • Partner closely with the External Communications Vice President, Marketing and the broader Communications team to align internal narratives with external positioning across integrated marketing/communications campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal Chase marketing support teams (social, brand/advertising, video, content), business leaders, and agency partners to tell a holistic story.
  • Establish measurement frameworks to track outcomes and demonstrate impact on engagement and understanding; use analytics to inform continuous improvement.
  • Oversee agency and vendor partners for event production, content creation, and distribution; ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
  • Protect and enhance the reputation of the firm, both among employees and, in partnership with External Communications, externally, through clear, consistent, and timely communications.
  • Coordinate with talent and influencer management teams when appropriate to amplify leadership messages and employee storytelling.
  • Support change, issues, and crisis communications with judgment, speed, and clear guidance.
  • Require some domestic and international travel

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 7 plus years of experience in communications/PR or marketing, with significant executive communications responsibilities
  • Proven track record leading town halls/all-hands and executive forums, delivering compelling content, smooth logistics, and measurable engagement.
  • Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a strong grasp of voice, clarity, and narrative flow for senior audiences.
  • Experience consulting directly with senior executives and subject matter experts; ability to coach leaders and prepare them for high-visibility moments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, able to build relationships and make decisions with diverse teams (social, brand/advertising, video, content).
  • Comfort using measurement tools to track and demonstrate results; data-informed approach to optimizing programs.
  • Excellent judgment, interpersonal skills, and professional presence; able to manage sensitive information and navigate complex situations.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, maintain momentum, proactively identify roadblocks, and deliver quality work quickly, even under tight deadlines or outside standard hours; high degree of independence, energy, integrity, and respect for diverse perspectives; effective negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Talent for crafting engaging narratives and visual storytelling for internal audiences and leadership moments; confident presenter and facilitator, with strong executive presence.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Passion for connecting employees to strategy, culture, and customer impact through clear, consistent communications.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience in a large company
  • Experience working with creators and social media, and fluency in multimedia formats; visual storytelling skills
  • Agency experience (working at or managing PR/communications/event partners); integrated marketing team experience
