Job responsibilities

  • Upload market data to risk management systems.

  • Perform reconciliations against market sources.

  • Conduct control reconciliations to verify trading positions across front, middle, and back office systems.

  • Investigate and resolve queries from settlements and confirmations teams.

  • Produce management statistics and reports.

  • Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to support new initiatives and technology enhancements.

  • Support process re-engineering and automation efforts to improve operational workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless trading operations.

  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all tasks.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address operational issues.

  • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum one year of experience in finance industry operations.

  • Strong logical and analytical mindset, with the ability to challenge existing processes.

  • Demonstrated understanding of process flows and system linkages.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work on APAC hours.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships.

  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to provide effective solutions.

  • Ability to adapt to new systems, technology enhancements, and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering.

  • Experience with VBA programming.

  • Prior involvement in process automation or re-engineering initiatives.

  • Experience supporting new system implementations.

  • Experience producing management statistics and operational reports.
