Job Summary:
As an Associate in Securities Services Product Development, you will support targeted projects across IMOS (Investment Middle Office Services), Custody, Fund Services, and Agency Lending. You will gather and draft business requirements, drive delivery from discovery through UAT and production, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimise trade-related data ingestion and transformation. You will work closely with product management, sales, operations, and technology teams to build out key product components, enhance platform functionality, and improve client experience across global markets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with product management, sales, service teams, and technology to build and link key product components for IMOS, Custody, Fund Services, and Agency Lending
- Develop subject matter expertise in multi-asset class transaction and reconciliation lifecycles
- Utilise knowledge to enhance existing platforms, improve user experience, and implement change requests for internal and external stakeholders
- Produce clear requirements and acceptance criteria for technology and operations partners
- Run working groups, review test evidence, and ensure high-quality production changes
- Interface with clients, product, operations, and technology teams to define and execute roadmaps and priorities
- Communicate updates to stakeholders effectively and in a timely manner
- Propose strategic, scalable solutions and measure outcomes to drive continuous improvement
- Foster an innovation culture and expand subject matter expertise across multiple asset classes and lines of business
- Support client onboarding, enhanced product offerings, and broader programme delivery
- Drive automation impact, STP rate improvements, and measurable client satisfaction indicators
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience delivering client-focused product or process change in financial services, technology, or operations
- Strong programme management and collaboration skills, with the ability to develop plans and break them into achievable deliverables
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to stakeholders and clients
- Working knowledge of SDLC, with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point, Project, Visio, and JIRA
- Familiarity with AI toolsets such as LLMs
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- SQL and Alteryx experience strongly preferred
- Instruction Capture exposure is a plus
- Experience in trade lifecycle management across multiple asset classes
- Ability to drive automation and process improvements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
