Bring your industry trends and knowledge to our team and shape exceptional user experiences through cutting-edge research, influencing product design and functionality.

As an Experience Research Senior Associate in CIB Markets, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences across our products and services. You’ll leverage strong qualitative and quantitative research skills to identify customer needs, translate ambiguous product questions into clear research plans, and deliver actionable insights that influence product and design decisions. Your work will directly impact the design, architecture, and functionality of our offerings through close partnership with Product, Design, Data Science/Analytics, and other cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Translate product questions into clear research questions and study plans
  • Conduct and execute qualitative and quantitative research using methods such as interviews, ethnography, and surveys
  • Independently lead evaluative research initiatives end-to-end: problem framing, data collection, synthesis, and recommendations
  • Analyze and interpret data, identify patterns and trends, and provide actionable recommendations to inform product and design decisions that improve the user experience
  • Communicate research results effectively so insights land with diverse audiences across levels of seniority
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user insights into product development and iterative delivery processes
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate relevant learnings into team insights

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in generative and evaluative user experience research
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interview and survey design, ethnography, and data analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of user experience design principles and practices
  • Demonstrable understanding of product development and how User Research fits into iterative delivery
  • Desire and ability to influence product strategy (not just feature delivery) through insight-driven recommendations
  • Experience partnering with Data Science and/or Analytics teams
  • Comfort conducting research with professional/expert users across domains
  • Ability to balance speed and rigor, selecting methods appropriate to the decision and timeline

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Literacy and interest in capital markets
  • Experience driving research adoption and measurable organizational impact (not only delivering studies)
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and scale research efficiency through thoughtful adoption of new tools and methods
