Join our dynamic trading floor as a Vice President in the Currencies Emerging Markets Trading team, where you will lead and drive market strategies, manage risk, and foster client relationships in EM Asia Rates, FX, and Credits. This senior role offers the opportunity to shape trading initiatives, mentor junior talent, and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

As a Vice President in Currencies Emerging Markets Trading, you will lead trading activities within our team, managing risk and liquidity for institutional accounts. You will play a key role in developing and executing market strategies, building strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, contribute to a collaborative team culture, and help drive the success of our trading business. Your expertise will support our client-focused approach and help us deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead trading activities in EM Asia Rates, FX, and Credits, actively managing risk and liquidity across institutional accounts.
  • Develop and execute market strategies, leveraging deep market analysis to anticipate trends and cross-asset implications.
  • Oversee pre-trade analysis, trade execution, and post-trade processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions and timely communication of market developments.
  • Drive revenue generation while balancing risk and client needs, contributing to the team’s overall performance and profitability.
  • Mentor and guide Associates and junior traders, sharing insights and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to enhance trading strategies and support business growth initiatives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking/financial industries, with significant expertise in trading EM Asia Rates, FX, or Credits.
  • Proven track record in managing risk, executing trades, and generating revenue in global financial markets.
  • Strong proficiency in market and product terminology, transaction lifecycle, and execution orientation.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of risk management, market dynamics, and fixed income fundamentals.
  • Ability to thrive under competitive pressures and deliver client-focused solutions.
