Join JPMorgan as a high-impact Vice President, partnering with APAC M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) and FSG (Financial Sponsors Group) leaders to modernize business management. Leverage technology, analytics, and innovative thinking to enhance decision making, performance and transparency across the franchise.
As the Vice President in the APAC M&A and FSG team, you will go beyond traditional execution to act as a change agent, challenging the status quo and promoting transformation.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to APAC M&A and FSG senior management, identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Deliver forward-looking, insight-driven analysis for business reviews and strategy discussions
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, market trend analysis, and performance assessments
- Leverage data and analytics for predictive and scenario-based insights
- Champion adoption of analytics, visualization, and automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, SQL)
- Own and evolve management reporting, pipeline analytics, and performance dashboards
- Analyze external M&A and FSG performance using Dealogic, aligning internal and external metrics
- Drive business transformation initiatives, redesigning processes and governance models
- Manage client agenda, account plans, and client performance metrics. Collaborate with global Business Management teams to deliver initiatives and share best practices
- Oversee budgeting, expense management, and financial discipline
- Lead and support risk and control initiatives. Build strong relationships with bankers and key partners across functions
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in business management, strategy, COO/CAO, financial analysis, consulting, banking, or similar functions
- Strategic thinker able to connect disparate data points and deliver executive-level insights
- Proven experience driving change and influencing stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a data-driven mindset
- Solid project management capability and track record of process improvement
- Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Clear, confident, and influential communicator
- Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks in regulated financial services
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Prior experience in Investment Banking, M&A, or FSG/sponsor coverage
- Hands-on experience with data analytics, visualization, or automation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Python, SQL)
- Track record as a change agent or transformation lead
- Experience building scalable analytics or management information solutions
- Experience modernizing reporting, analytics, or operating models
- Ability to simplify and automate processes
- Experience supporting cross-border business initiatives
