As a Robotics Automation Project Lead in the Home Lending Robotics Automation team, you lead automation initiatives from intake through post-deployment handoff, focusing on efficient delivery and optimized end-to-end processes. You partner with business owners and cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, refine requirements, and translate needs into clear user stories. You help redesign current processes into future-state workflows to drive the greatest practical efficiency, regardless of tool or approach. You escalate risks early and keep teams aligned on timelines, outcomes, and quality.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead high-complexity, high-visibility automation projects through the full lifecycle from intake to post-deployment handoff
- Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and success measures in partnership with stakeholders
- Facilitate discovery to document current-state workflows and pain points
- Design detailed future-state process flows to maximize efficiency across the end-to-end journey
- Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate execution with business owners, finance, development, and testing partners
- Track progress, dependencies, and delivery risks;escalate issues appropriately and early
- Validate that solutions meet requirements through user reviews and testing support
- Communicate status, decisions, and impacts clearly to varied audiences
- Support knowledge transfer and operational readiness for post-deployment handoff
- Facilitate small-group learning sessions on robotics automation and agile delivery practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of professional work experience with strong performance
- At least 3 years of experience supporting project delivery in a business, financial, or technical environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder updates and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- Experience gathering and refining requirements and converting them into actionable work items (for example, user stories)
- Experience mapping processes (current state and future state) and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Background in automation and/or technology, including experience with at least one of the following: Ui Path,Win Automation,RDA Inventa,VBA, another programming language, or data transformation/visualization tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technology partners
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Applied knowledge of the mortgage lending lifecycle
- Experience working in agile delivery teams
- Experience creating and managing stories in Jira
- Familiarity with collaboration/workflow tools such as Share Point and Confluence
- Scrum practitioner certification or equivalent experience
- Testing background and/or experience supporting test planning and execution
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and data tools (for example, Alteryx,SQL,Oracle,Toad,Visual Studio)
