Role Summary

As a Research Associate in the Equity Research Department at JP Morgan Asset Management you will support a Senior Research Analyst in their efforts to analyze companies and generate positive investment performance. This particular opening is focused on the Insurance and/or Private Markets. A successful Research Associate is self-motivated, intellectually curious, demonstrates analytical aptitude and attention to detail, and has a strong interest in investing.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide variety of research projects to aid in the investment process, including building financial models and industry frameworks as well as company/industry-specific ad hoc projects.
• Provide data and analysis to assist in the management of regional and global analyst funds

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• 3+ years of experience covering Insurance and/or Private Markets
• Strong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers; ability to identify trends through numerical analysis
• Intellectual curiosity
• Passion for and interest in investing

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Coding experience with VBA is preferred
