The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase supports the firm's data and analytics capabilities, driving risk management, business strategy, and operational excellence. The Asia Pacific CDAO advances the firm's data and analytics strategy, platforms, and governance to deliver responsible and innovative outcomes across APAC markets.
As Vice President for Data Strategy & Enablement, APAC, you will help support the execution of the firm's data strategy, focusing on making data accessible, high-quality, and actionable for a variety of business needs. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, regulated financial environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data initiatives and support commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the APAC data strategy and enablement roadmap, ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to help identify and prioritize high-value use cases and opportunities across business lines and functions.
  • Assist in managing the lifecycle of data initiatives, from concept and experimentation to deployment and adoption.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, milestones, and success metrics for data initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, helping bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders to support successful delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with APAC leadership, business heads, and corporate functions.
  • Participate in APAC industry forums, conferences, and regulatory engagements as needed.
  • Provide support and guidance on data strategy and enablement for internal stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging and coordination.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data strategy, data enablement, or related roles, preferably within financial services or a regulated sector.
  • Experience supporting data initiatives, including data collection, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation to ensure data quality and enable data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and building scalable capabilities.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous and complex environments and make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of APAC regulatory landscape and nuances.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical thinker with a track record of supporting innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in APAC.
  • Prior experience working with or supporting globally distributed technical teams.
