As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking Digital Channels Public Team you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Lead a new full‑stack team to build and operate a cloud‑native Digital Asset Management platform that powers web and mobile digital channels. Own architecture, hands‑on development, integrations, and production reliability across the stack. Deliver secure, compliant, cost‑efficient solutions for ingest, transform, store, search, govern, and serve digital assets at scale.
• Develops secure high-quality production code, reviews and debugs code written by others
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) like Java , J2EE , Spring , Spring Boot , React or any other UI Tech Stack.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Storage: S3 for originals and renditions,
• Compute: EKS/ECS for containerized services and workers; or serverless with Lambda for bursty transforms; Step Functions for orchestrations; SQS/SNS/Kinesis for eventing.
• Networking and security: VPC design, private subnets, VPC endpoints for S3, least‑privilege IAM, KMS, WAF, Secrets Manager/Parameter Store.
• Delivery: CloudFront for global edge delivery; image/video transforms via media services or custom pipelines; blue/green or canary deployments.
• IaC and CI/CD: Terraform or CDK/CloudFormation; GitHub Actions/Jenkins; quality gates and automated testing.
• Observability: CloudWatch metrics/logs/traces plus APM; SLOs/error budgets; runbooks and post‑incident reviews.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Knowledge of Digital Asset Management Capabilities
• Good to have Continent management System like Payload / Adobe Experience Manager .
• Solid Integration knowledge between different cloud system , specifically Adobe Experience Cloud
• Exposure to Adobe IO Console
• Exposure to Coding Agents like co-pilot / Codeium
• Exposure to GraphQL
