As a Product Owner - Vice President within our J.P. Morgan Asset Management Real Estate team, you will be responsible for setting and improving our platform objectives on Yardi across a global operating model, translating business priorities into roadmaps, and delivering measurable modernization in workflows, controls, and data quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Define the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Yardi capabilities and integrations aligned to Investment Accounting and/or Multifamily priorities.
- Align regional business, operations, finance, and technology stakeholders on priorities, outcomes, and delivery sequencing across the global operating model.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans for Yardi modules and adjacent systems.
- Lead end-to-end delivery for Yardi modules including discovery, design, testing, release readiness, and change management.
- Configure and administer Yardi security, workflows, chart of accounts, bank and GL setup, and multi-entity structures to meet control and audit requirements.
- Design and govern integrations between Yardi and downstream platforms using secure file exchange, ETL, and APIs, including mappings, lineage, and reconciliations.
- Build and enhance reporting using Yardi Standard Reporting and SQL-based extracts while defining KPIs and ensuring metric consistency and data quality.
- Drive release and environment management including patching, upgrades, regression testing, vendor coordination, incident triage, and SLA oversight.
- Apply AI and data-driven analytics to prioritize work, automate workflows, improve data quality, and generate actionable stakeholder insights.
- Standardize global processes and controls while accommodating local market requirements across regions and regulatory contexts.
- Mentor teammates on product thinking, analytical reasoning, AI literacy, and stakeholder communication to strengthen Agile execution and continuous improvement.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Yardi experience (Voyager and/or Investment Accounting) in production, including configuration, module setup, user administration, and reporting.
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience delivering enterprise technology in product management, solutions/business analysis, or a closely related role with VP-level scope.
- Deep domain expertise in Investment Accounting and/or Multifamily operations on Yardi (e.g., funds/vehicles, capital activity, waterfalls, consolidations; leasing/resident lifecycle where applicable).
- Demonstrated ownership of at least one Yardi implementation, major upgrade, or multi-module optimization from requirements through stabilization.
- Proficiency with Yardi reporting (YSR) and custom extracts with strong SQL skills for validation, reconciliation, and analytics.
- Experience designing and supporting integrations between Yardi and finance/analytics platforms using file-based, ETL, and/or API patterns.
- AI proficiency with hands-on experience identifying, prioritizing, and deploying AI/ML solutions and establishing responsible-use standards and guardrails.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive alignment and decisions across diverse, global groups.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Broader domain knowledge in real estate investment management, commercial mortgage, and/or private lending.
- Additional depth in Yardi areas such as Lease Administration, CAM and recoveries, Debt, multi-entity and multicurrency, intercompany, consolidations, bank reconciliation, and cash management.
- Experience integrating and operating adjacent real estate applications (e.g., ARGUS and other proptech platforms) within an enterprise ecosystem.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) and advanced Excel for analysis and stakeholder reporting.
- Familiarity with modern delivery tooling and ways of working (e.g., Jira and Monday.com) to support roadmap execution and transparency.
