As a Vice President for Mid-Cap Segment within Global Corporate Bank, you are responsible for originating, developing and managing relationships with China headquartered public-listed and founder-led private companies segment. This division looks to promote corporate banking products and solutions, as well as investment banking products to its clients. You will also work closely with our business partners, including product specialists from Payments & Trade Services, Financial Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets & Mergers and Acquisition, etc, to cross-sell customized banking solutions. You are expected have strong motivation and capability of driving new business origination, independent deal executions, and ability to handle senior client relationship (ie. At least Group Treasurer, CFO levels).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, originate, pursue, execute business opportunities for a broad range of corporate banking products and services.
  • Manage complex, multi-product client relationships as the primary global client coverage relationship manager.
  • Coordinate the sales and service efforts of multiple internal business partners and stakeholders.
  • Proactively market clients and prospects; represent Corporate Client Banking group in the local corporate banking space and business communities, as well as develop a network of referral sources.
  • Collaborate with the credit risk team on credit risk tasks, structuring, negotiation, and documentation of credit requests.
  • Initiate and maintain strategic dialogue with clients and prospects to generate ongoing corporate banking, financial markets, payment & treasury services, and credit opportunities.
  • Comply with all regulatory and JP Morgan Chase’s rules, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 10 years of prior experiences in client facing roles within Corporate & Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Financial Markets and/or Payment & Treasury Services.
  • Extensive and strong experience as an outstanding Client Coverage / Relationship Manager marketing and originating corporate / commercial banking products and investment banking services.
  • Knowledge of credit, corporate finance, payments & treasury, financial markets, investment banking, and other corporate banking products.
  • Strong leadership abilities in financial services sales and business development with solid credit, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and self-motivated, dependable team player.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Completion of a recognized bank credit training program or investment banking training program.
