This role sits within the Merchant Services Product Management team in JPMorgan Payments. The team builds and commercializes enterprise merchant acquiring capabilities that support bank clients, drive growth, and strengthen our competitive position in Asia Pacific.

As a Vice President based in Singapore, you will be the APAC field-facing product lead for the J.P. Morgan Commerce, with a distinctive mandate: enable sales execution and advocate for client needs to accelerate client acquisition and successful delivery. You will partner closely with Sales, Banking/Coverage, Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Legal/Compliance to ensure what we take to market is clearly positioned, deliverable, and aligned to client treasury and commerce requirements.
You will operate at the intersection of deal pursuits and product commercialization—translating complex client needs into solutions, identifying gaps versus current capabilities, coordinating decisions across stakeholders, and shaping near-term deliverables and longer-term roadmap inputs. Success in this role is measured by pipeline conversion, speed to solution, quality of onboarding/delivery outcomes, and sustained client growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide product expertise and strategic guidance to deal teams; shape solution positioning, proposals, and client narratives for priority pursuits across APAC.
  • Design and socialize technical and commercial blueprints for deals (capabilities, configuration, operating model implications, dependencies, and constraints), ensuring alignment to client treasury and commerce needs.
  • Lead discovery with clients and internal teams; translate needs into clear requirements, trade-offs, and decisions—especially when needs exceed current platform capabilities.
  • Align Sales/Coverage, Services, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Legal/Compliance to drive a unified plan for delivery and a seamless client journey from pursuit through onboarding and expansion.
  • Contribute to APAC commercialization plans by bringing market and client insights; create high-impact enablement assets that improve sales readiness and win-rate.
  • Proactively identify friction points impacting adoption, processing volume, or wallet share; mobilize the right internal teams to resolve issues and protect long-term trust.
  • Track APAC acquiring, treasury, and commerce trends; surface implications for product strategy and client engagement.
  • Ensure commercialization and delivery are executed within applicable risk, regulatory, and control frameworks, with strong documentation and stakeholder transparency.
  • Develop case studies and success stories; capture feedback and lessons learned to scale repeatable wins across markets.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or related disciplines
  • 10+ years in Product Management, Product Commercialization, Advisory, or Client/Deal Leadership within a top-tier bank, payments/acquiring provider, or large multinational.
  • Proven track records of successful leadership across Merchant Acquiring, and strong understanding of Corporate Banking, and Treasury, enabling holistic product commercialization strategies and ensuring seamless execution across diverse client segments.
  • Solid understanding of risk, controls, and regulatory considerations relevant to acquiring and payments in APAC.
  • Proven ability to support complex deals end-to-end (RFP, discovery → solutioning → approvals/governance → delivery handoff), balancing commercial outcomes with execution feasibility.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership: ability to drive alignment without direct authority across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Legal/Compliance.
  • Client-centric mindset with a track record of removing friction, improving time-to-solution, and strengthening client outcomes (adoption, volume growth, wallet share).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and steering groups with clear options and trade-offs.
  • Experience working across cultures and geographies; strong collaboration and influence skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Additional Asian language capability is a plus, such as Korean to support clients from Korea
