Technical Program Manager – Migration Programs

Overview

The ICB organization is embarking on several high-impact Migration Programs that involve the transition of multiple systems, extensive vendor collaboration, and adherence to stringent regulatory requirements. These programs are critical to the organization’s strategic objectives and require a seasoned Technical Program Manager (TPM) with deep technical acumen and proven leadership in complex migrations.

The Migration Programs encompass two primary initiatives:

  • Platform Instantiation: Building and deploying new technology platforms to support future business needs.
  • Back-Book Migration: Seamlessly transferring historical data and existing customers from legacy platforms to the newly instantiated platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Program Planning & Roadmap Development:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine a comprehensive migration roadmap, detailing key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define program scope, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Establish and manage program governance structures, including steering committees and working groups.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

  • Act as the primary liaison between ICB, Platform teams, Risk & Controls partners, vendors, and other critical stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and drive decision-making.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent communication throughout the program lifecycle.

Technical Oversight & Solution Assurance:

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to validate solution designs and integration approaches.
  • Ensure all technical deliverables meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.

4.

Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks related to data integrity, customer experience, system performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation protocols.
  • Ensure all migration activities adhere to relevant regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

5.

Execution Excellence & Delivery Management:

  • Drive the end-to-end execution of migration programs, ensuring delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Monitor program progress, track key performance indicators, and resolve delivery bottlenecks.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the program team.

6.

Reporting & Senior Management Updates:

  • Prepare and deliver regular program status reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation and audit trails.
