As an Operations Program Manager within the International Private Bank Operations Projects team, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and delivery of high‑profile platform projects. You will partner with internal teams—including Operations, Technology, and Business Management—and engage senior stakeholders across Facilities, Technology, Global Security and Crisis Management, Audit, Operational and Information Risk Management, and Oversight and Controls. You will be the APAC lead and coordinate cross‑functional work to optimize business flows, deliver efficiencies, and ensure the platform remains compliant with regulations applicable to our legal entities and branches.
Job responsibilities
- Lead planning, management, and delivery of high-profile platform projects using a clearly defined delivery roadmap with robust financial and risk management.
- Manage a team of project managers and business analysts on day‑to‑day execution.
- Apply pragmatic project management methodologies using clearly defined delivery roadmaps and robust financial and risk management, and drive continuous improvement of the team’s strategic approach to managing change, including identifying best practices.
- Perform detailed analysis to understand and document current processes and business rules.
- Use design‑thinking to model target flows and operating models.
- Manage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and maintain ongoing, transparent communication and status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate with other project managers to understand and manage cross dependencies.
- Drive progress against defined plans, anticipate challenges, and mitigate potential cost or time delays.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working in the banking and financial industry, fund administrator, or a consulting firm.
- Broad knowledge of financial products with strong knowledge of trading flows, custody or banking principles and adaptability to understand complex business rules and process details.
- Strong capacity to work with stakeholders in multiple locations towards strategic objectives.
- Strong understanding of Project Methodologies and Data principles.
- Demonstrated leadership in running programs where the understanding of complex operational processes/products is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present effectively, lead meetings with senior stakeholders and be the image of the team to adapt messaging appropriate to the audience.
- Highly disciplined self-starter with the ability to execute on assignments independently.
- Strong capacity for operating in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking is required.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet deadlines, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Team player, shows commitment and dedication, maintaining a positive attitude and delivering results with high level of integrity and accountability in a demanding environment.
