This is an exciting opportunity for a driven salesperson to join a global sales desk specializing in the Macro markets.
Job Summary:
As an Analyst within the CEM Macro Sales Team, you will be responsible for supporting APAC Sales with marketing, onboarding, pre- and post-trade activities, market research, and pricing analysis. You will prepare marketing materials, generate trade ideas, and assist with operational requirements. Your role includes internal liaison across various groups with limited client interaction in select domiciles. You will ensure accurate data management and help resolve trade-related discrepancies. This position is a vital part of the growth strategy of JPM’s APAC Macro business.
Job responsibilities:
- Liaise with internal MO to resolve discrepancies on conventions, fixings, fund allocations, and small notional differences; escalate economically significant changes for sales sign‑off.
- Support client onboarding and KYC refreshes, and maintain accurate, up‑to‑date trade and client records.
- Automate and send recurrent indicative pricing requests with credit runs to streamline responses.
- Book trades and assist in fee calculations for deals, unwinds, step‑ins, and novations, with sales providing final approval as required.
- Gather trading desk risk views for the weekly sales email and coordinate client events and related communications.
- Draft term sheets in coordination with sales/structuring, and track CEM product term sheet agreements and negotiation stages across the client base.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Understanding of financial products (Macro , Fixed Income)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Demonstrated interest in global financial markets
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Experience in a financial services support role
- Familiarity with operations of a bank
- Knowledge of market research tools and techniques
- Exposure to pricing vanilla and exotic solutions
- Experience with client-facing activities
- Advanced Excel or data visualization skills
