About the role

As a Business Management Associate in Consumer Banking Germany, you will help run the business by driving governance, performance monitoring, and cost discipline while translating strategy into actionable plans. You’ll work closely with leadership and partners across finance, risk, legal, compliance, controls, technology, and data to coordinate decisions and execution. You’ll bring structure to ambiguity, build high-quality reporting and narratives, and help the team focus on outcomes that matter. The role is based in Berlin, Germany, and reports into the CFO organization.
Job responsibilities
- Maintain the overall business governance. Drive reporting, escalation, and committee obligations across the business and the legal entity ensuring strategic updates and decision requests flow through a structured cadence with clear documentation. Lead local management routines including the leadership team meeting and all1hands. Organize and facilitate offsites, ensuring alignment and collaboration across functions.
- Own the end-to-end performance monitoring cadence, provide stewardship for the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) framework for the business.
- Drive detailed cost reporting review to ensure spending discipline.
- Partner with various team on key business initiatives to shape business cases and informed decision-making
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant Experience in business management, strategy, finance, or a relevant domain within financial services or technology.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to build business cases and cost frameworks, understand a broad set of business KPIs and carry root-cause analyses to identify and deliver on optimization opportunities.
- Experience preparing executive-level reporting packs and performance dashboards with clear narratives and insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver against tight deadlines with high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information for senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker or equivalent).
