As a Vice President within the EMEA Emerging Markets UK Asset Manager Sales team, you will take ownership of a franchise of institutional asset manager clients, delivering tailored solutions across Emerging Markets fixed income and FX - including derivatives and structured products. You will leverage an analytics-led approach to identify opportunities, deepen relationships, and drive revenue growth across the platform. Working in close partnership with colleagues across Global Sales, Trading, and Research, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client franchise and reinforcing our position as a leading liquidity provider in the region.
Job responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of institutional asset manager client relationships across the EMEA region.
- Lead the distribution of Emerging Markets fixed income and FX products, including derivatives and structured solutions.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and deepening existing client relationships.
- Partner with Global Sales, Trading, and Research teams to deliver best-in-class client outcomes.
- Develop and present high-impact trade ideas and market insights that demonstrate our capabilities and product expertise.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify Emerging Markets trends and anticipate client needs.
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous development.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven experience in FICC sales, with a strong track record of managing and growing institutional client relationships.
- Deep understanding of Emerging Markets dynamics, including fixed income, FX, derivatives, and structured products.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and develop new business within an asset manager client base.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and market insights to deliver client solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience covering UK or EMEA-based asset manager clients at a leading financial institution.
- Established network within the institutional asset manager community in the EMEA region.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to team development.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
