Job Summary:
As a Lead Software Engineer in the Asset Management Client Service Team, you will create strategic software products that support our global business objectives. You will work within an agile team to enhance, build, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology solutions. Your role will focus on developing agentic capabilities powered by AI, transforming the client service experience. You’ll collaborate across technical areas, drive innovation, and help foster a culture of inclusion and respect.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Expand digital client experiences by leveraging AI and machine learning
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others
  • Utilize Ai4Tech toolsets to support development
  • Identify and automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability
  • Demonstrate leadership by bringing ideas, passion, and ownership to the team and products
  • Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical credentials
  • Drive communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote new technologies
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in backend development (Java, Spring)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in frontend development (React and front-end testing frameworks)
  • Practical experience designing, developing, or deploying agentic systems (autonomous agents, AI-powered assistants, workflow automation agents, or multi-agent frameworks)
  • Hands-on experience with agentic architectures, frameworks, or platforms (Lang Chain, AutoGPT, OpenAI Agents, or similar)
  • Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
  • Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
  • Practical cloud native experience

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience leading agile teams or technical projects
  • Familiarity with asset management business processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with additional AI/ML frameworks or platforms
  • Knowledge of security best practices in software development
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices
  • Ability to mentor and support junior engineers
