Job Summary:
As a USPB Client Operations Senior Associate in Wealth Management Operations, you will be responsible for various processes within the life cycle of financial products. You will work in a large team environment, supporting areas such as Front Office, Product, Client Service, Transformation, and other global operations teams. In this role, you will oversee account opening, KYC, and account maintenance functions, manage exceptions, and drive process improvements. Together, we strive to exceed client expectations and deliver operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all process-level service level agreements (SLAs) for productivity, accuracy, turn times, and staffing are consistently met and improved.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and manage exceptions throughout the client onboarding lifecycle.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of exceptional cases.
- Deliver high-quality performance and accuracy to meet client needs and expectations.
- Ensure adherence to service level commitments, process controls, and escalation policies.
- Proactively identify issues and adapt to changes in the team, market, or Wealth Management to recommend process improvements.
- Add value to the business by actively engaging in ongoing projects and leading them to completion within timelines.
- Chair senior-level governance forums and communicate updates on project timelines, capacity, and upcoming tasks.
- Supervise and manage the performance of the Client Operations team, including hiring and ongoing talent development.
- Lead transformation initiatives, including tactical and strategic projects, to drive operational excellence.
- Oversee volume analysis, capacity planning, and headcount assessment to support business needs.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Commerce, Science, or equivalent military experience.
- Eight years of relevant operations experience, including four years of people and team management experience.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage performance of team members.
- Strong change mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive transformation projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in making presentations and developing scorecards.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience presenting data to senior stakeholders.
- Experience in volume analysis, capacity planning, and headcount assessment.
- Demonstrated ownership, responsibility, and intellectual capacity for process improvements and innovation.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic team environment and meet fixed deadlines.
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
