- As a Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank
- Markets Global Middle Office Technology team, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reach business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets and collaborating with high-performing teams. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document and communicate requirements across large scale Financial Systems, as well as maintain project plans and track project status.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans and presentations, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
- Manage key stakeholders and their responsiblities, including being the liaison between users and engineers. This including proper documentation of the business flows, application change requests, and functional requirements, all translated into technical specifications that will deliver what the business wants from our products.
- Collaborate with users for User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design, and documenting wireframes.
- Participate in the planning and execution of Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall product delivery goals
- Provide inputs for decision making with As Is and To Be models, requirements, planning, roadmaps, and able to deliver estimates grounded on solid data.
- Oversee overall objectives of a Product Operating Model, with Product Owner responsibilities. This includes being fluent in agile ways of working and proficient in organizing feature teams and scrum calls
- Encourage the overall adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts and to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience and expertise in technical business analysis, technical project and program management, and leading complex technology projects in a large financial organization
- Clear understanding of Middle Office Operations, Post Trade processes, and trade booking concepts
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and users
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities and have excellent analytical skills, especially pertaining to data analysis and data interrogation in databases and logs
- Experience in requirements elicitation as a Technical Business Analyst and experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum Master
- Familiarity with User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design and familiarity with the concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Model (LLM), and Machine Learning (ML)
- Experience in utilizing technical fluency, and familiarity with cloud architecture and software development fundamentals
- Must have excellent oral, written and presentation skills, being able to communicate effectively on both a technical and business level
- Must have experience with the following set of tools: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Share Point, etc.
- Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Professional certifications in AWS and Agile Delivery
- Experience in finance especially within Corporate and Investment Banking across Equities and Derivatives domain
- Experience in data and analytics and full stack technical delivery
