The Performance Marketing Channel Strategy and Optimization (CSO) team is responsible for driving growth and efficiency across owned digital marketing channels (e.g., Chase.com, Chase Mobile, email). We leverage data, technology, and creative strategies to optimize performance, maximize ROI, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences.
As a Channel Strategy & Optimization Innovation Lead on the Performance Marketing team, you will be instrumental in driving innovation and growth within the Consumer & Community Banking Marketing division. You should be a strategic thinker with a robust background in data analytics, digital marketing technology, and consumer banking market trends. In this role, you will partner with both LOB and central teams to identify, pilot, and scale innovative strategies, technologies, and processes that will keep our performance marketing efforts at the forefront of the industry. Your responsibilities will include developing new analytical frameworks, identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends, implementing cutting-edge vendor solutions, and supporting enhancements to our operating model.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead the innovation agenda for performance marketing by identifying, evaluating, and championing new opportunities, technologies, and approaches.

Design, launch, and manage strategic pilots and test-and-learn programs across owned digital marketing channels (e.g., Chase.com, Chase Mobile, email)

Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute optimization initiatives that address critical business questions and unlock new growth opportunities.

Build compelling business cases for new investments, clearly articulating the potential impact on channel performance and overall marketing ROI.

Oversee the analysis of experimental data, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to enhance customer acquisition and engagement strategies.

Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders to influence marketing decisions.

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, evolving consumer behaviors, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.

Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the team.

Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting professional growth and knowledge sharing
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

6+ years of marketing or equivalent experience, with demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, marketing innovation, data analysis, and strategic planning.

Exceptional executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences and inspire cross-functional teams.

Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe, Analytics, Tableau, SQL) with the ability to structure and solve complex problems.

Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

High level of intellectual curiosity, with the ability to quickly develop expertise in new areas.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Financial services industry experience.
