The Team

The Latin America Marketing team partners with cross-line-of-business teams and specialist marketing functions on the day-to-day and strategic projects to drive the continual enhancement of JPMorgan’s client experience.

The Role

The Associate is a member of the Latin America Marketing team, which focuses on understanding client needs and helping build integrated marketing strategies alongside the sales teams. This Associate will help support marketing campaigns across several client segments, including institutional clients, and intermediaries.

The Associate will partner with sales teams, internal writers/designers, digital and brand teams, third-party vendors and compliance to help develop and implement effective marketing strategies, program management and value-added content which are aligned with the overall business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for Latin American client segments across owned, earned, and paid channels, driving awareness and growth.

  • Help lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Sales, Investment Specialists, Strategists, and shared services teams to build pipeline and expand the business.

  • Own regional targeting and execution across email marketing, digital events, and web maintenance; manage webcast platforms end to end, including event content planning.

  • Leverage data to craft insights-driven narratives and prioritize initiatives, resources, efficiencies, and change management for the business.

  • Build strong partnerships with Sales; communicate marketing plans, performance, and updates to Sales and internal stakeholders.

  • Support the Marketing Director on various marketing projects and day-to-day functional operations.

  • Foster a culture that welcomes and encourages diversity of thought, background, and experience.

  • Insight – ability to understand the unique needs of their client segment

  • Innovation – identify opportunities to develop a differentiated client experience by developing well-defined contact strategies and programs for all client and prospect touchpoints

  • Relationship – build strong relationships with global marketing, sales and investment professionals; collaborate with internal partners by sharing ideas, expressing feedback and working towards common goals

  • Execution/delivery - the ability to develop credibility and trust through consistent delivery of quality outcomes across a matrix within and beyond marketing.

  • Measurement and reporting - a strong interest in quantifying the success of marketing programs; ability to identify areas for evaluation, establish standard measurement processes, synthesize data and present marketing intelligence and suggestion for improving effectiveness of marketing programs.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Marketing or Communications

  • Experience - 3-5 plus years marketing experience in financial services or a related industry

  • Marketing expertise - ability to deliver traditional and digital marketing solutions in collaboration with internal and external partners and resources

  • Language skill

  • English is required.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Product knowledge - investment product sales process and product knowledge (across Equities, Fixed Income, Alternatives and Solutions) preferred

  • Industry knowledge

  • Asset Management industry knowledge (across different client segments and products) preferred

  • Proficiencies - strong competency in Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Datorama, Google Analytics and Workfront is strongly.

  • Spanish is strongly preferred.
