In this business-critical role, you will be responsible for Reconciliation, Reporting and Payments of taxes to the tax authorities. As a professional, you will work closely with the businesses, middle office, settlements, Finance and Corporate Tax teams located across multiple locations.

  • Senior Associate in the Client Tax Operations team, you will be responsible for enhancing the client experience while effectively leading your team and ensuring global compliance with tax regulations. This involves overseeing the collection of client tax documentation, managing withholding taxes, reconciliation and ensuring timely submission of regulatory reports. The role is dynamic, requiring ongoing adherence to compliance and control standards, proactive responses to evolving regulatory and market requirements, and a commitment to operational excellence across business processes and technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reconcile, Tax reporting & payment due diligence in accordance with the regulatory requirements with a focus on accuracy and timely execution of our obligations.

  • Ensure all work is carried out to meet all departmental and regulatory deadlines

  • Understand market changes and its impacts on team, internal systems & processes

  • Ensure close collaboration with internal / external stakeholders and manage stakeholders’ relationships

  • Analyze proactively, support and guide on outstanding queries to all internal / external stakeholders

  • Maintain internal records and procedures to ensure all market and procedural changes are reflected accurately.

  • Manage process specific projects and maintain and process documentation

  • Identify risks and provide resolution

  • Perform UAT for system enhancements

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's / Honours degree or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of international Taxes
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to be a strong team player and showcase multitasking skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy within strict deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Broad technical knowledge of International tax laws and regulations
  • Ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex issues
  • Series 99 qualified
  • Knowledge of Alteryx, UIPath, Xecptor datahub and other low code tools
