Project Management

Our Document and Business Solutions (DBS) team is the firm’s logistics experts; Executing print, shipment, scan, design, and shredding tasks globally. The Finance and Business Management organization supporting DBS is responsible for supporting key components of the teams operations, helping drive cross-functional initiatives, developing and tracking operational metrics and analytics, and preparing key business cases and presentations for senior management. As a part of this team, you will gain unique perspective into the macro strategy of the firm. The DBS Finance and Business Management team sits within the Chief Administrative Office’s (CAO) Finance & Business Management division.

As a Business Manager in DBS, you will support the Head of DBS, and will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and analytics across the org. This role involves conducting thorough data analyses, leading and executing a range of adhoc projects, preparing materials and reporting for senior audiences, and improving processes to enhance team efficiency. You will collaborate with senior leaders to support various strategic initiatives and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Job responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough quantitative and logical analyses to support business decisions, process improvements, and strategic planning
  • Prepare routine and adhoc business management reporting and high touch presentations, create impactful presentations and succinctly communicate findings to senior management
  • Lead and execute a range of projects, including process improvement, automation, and new reporting development
  • Partner with functional heads to identify and report on key financial and operational metrics to improve the business and enhance operational performance
  • Develop and implement business processes to enhance team efficiency
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal DBS and CAO partners
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across DBS and CAO to support various strategic initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, business management, or a related area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive insights and decisions
  • Proven experience in leading cross-regional initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in project management, including leading complex projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with attention to detail with logical thought process
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Qlik, Python, etc.)
