Join a dynamic team at the center of innovation in Trading Services. As an Associate in Product Development, you will help shape the future of Agency Securities Finance, Collateral Management, and Depository Receipts by designing and delivering impactful product solutions.
Trading Services Product Development covers three lines of business – Agency Securities Finance, Collateral Management, and Depository Receipts. The Trading Services Product Development Team is responsible for executing business-specific product management strategy and developing core product enhancements. In this role, you will drive the design and delivery of key aspects of strategic Trading Services products, leveraging firm-wide capabilities to implement efficient and competitive solutions. You will collaborate with technology, product management, sales, relationship management, client service, and clients to gather requirements and provide detailed analysis in support of proposed solutions.
Job responsibilities
- Quickly become a subject matter expert of the Trading Services businesses and their drivers.
- Define technology product solutions across the business; create materials and documentation to explain and demonstrate business requirements to technology and operations teams.
- Partner with technology and operations teams for solution execution; assist technology analysts to ensure requirements documentation can be easily translated into technical solutions, and ensure delivery is on time and on budget.
- Work with user community on testing, and ensure the testing results correspond to business expectations.
- Manage new product rollout to both internal end users and/or clients, obtain feedback, and develop appropriate enhancements based on priority.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 3 years capital markets or financial industry experience in a product development, technology, or operational role.
- Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Must be self-driven, fast learner, and delivery focused.
- Strong verbal and written communicator; experience making verbal and written presentations.
- Comprehensive knowledge, experience, and/or interest in technology development, capturing business requirements, conducting business analysis, and managing subsequent rollout.
- Information Technology literacy, with good understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles.
- Exposure to and comfort with large data sets.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with technology development life cycles and large-scale product rollouts is a plus.
