As a Corporate Tax Intern within our Emerging Talent Program, you will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience working alongside Corporate Tax Professionals in one of the strongest banks in the world. You will assist tax department staff personnel to compile and analyze financial data obtained from a variety of sources. This data will be utilized and incorporated into JPMC's Federal, State Income Tax Returns and CFC Form 5471's. You will be trained by Corporate Tax Professionals to fulfill your respective duties and prepare you to take on further responsibilities for challenging projects.

The program is designed to provide a fixed-term on the job experience, and you will be expected to be available to work part time while your attending class, and fulltime when your classes are not in session; starting from early June 2026 and for a period of up to one year.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing analytical support for the professional tax staff (e.g., general ledger account analysis).
  • Assisting in the preparation of state apportionment income tax factors (receipts, property & payroll).
  • Preparing assigned Federal, State Income Tax Returns and Forms 5471.
  • Assisting in the analysis of Earnings & Profits for JPMorgan Chase controlled foreign corporations.
  • Interfacing and communicating effectively with people within the Corporate Tax Department and other JPMorgan Chase departments firmwide. Utilizing data automation and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and other emerging technologies to enhance the tax return preparation process, improve data accuracy, and drive greater efficiency across the corporate tax function.
  • Assisting with special projects as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree with a Major or Minor in Accounting or Tax with an expected graduation date between 2026 and 2028
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Good personal computer skills using spreadsheet applications such as Excel and be proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must remain enrolled in a degree program through the duration of the internship.

Your exact office location will be within proximity to one of our main hubs. This will be communicated to you prior to your start date.

Cohort Start Date: June 1, 2026

  • You must be able to report to your designated office location on your start date.
  • Relocation assistance is not offered for this role.
