Job Summary:

As a Wealth Management, UHNW Client Advisor, Vice President for Southeast Asia (SEA) market at JP Morgan, with a focus on Thailand market, you will be responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of client relationships across the team, including understanding clients’ wealth objectives and investment requirements, and collaborate with other Specialists to provide high-quality client service and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Market Coverage: Responsibilities cover the Southeast Asia (SEA) market, with a primary focus on the Thailand market.

2. Support and manage all aspects of client relationships across the team and develop and maintain long-term relationships through professional or personal networks and contacts.

3. Build portfolio of clients using resources and expertise of JPMorgan’s platforms, products, services, and networks, and actively involved in prospecting and acquiring new clients, cultivate prospect lists and actively convert them into clients and deepen relationships.

4. Manage and coordinate with various teams to address overall account inquiries and maintenance, as well as investment-related aspects.

5. Articulate and deliver strategic messages to their portfolio, prepare presentations and proposals, and take both solicited and unsolicited orders in all asset classes. Update clients regularly on markets, portfolio performance, investments opportunities, risks.

6. Partner with the clients including (but not limited to) updating Know Your Client (KYC) information, client suitability profile, hosting client meetings, monitoring funds/asset transfer and handling client ad-hoc queries.

7. Collaborate with the other integrated team members to provide a high quality of client service.

8. Keeping track of Clients, Assets Under Management (AUM) and Revenues using our internal systems; periodic calculation of account performance.

9. Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline

2. Minimum 7 years’ experience in wealth management space, along with strong client and stakeholder management skills is required.

3. Understand and have working knowledge of the private banking key regulatory and control environments that are relevant to the team and be able to manage the accounts accordingly.

4. Proven client management skills and effective communication skills (oral and written) who can positively engage and influence clients as well as internal stakeholders.

5. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and must be a team player and able to work with different business functions across the bank.

6. Operate with a high level of integrity and risk awareness.

7. As the role is an important contributor to the strategy of JP Morgan, comfort and experience working with and reporting to senior management is required.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities:

1. Appropriate local regulatory qualification and licenses preferred. However, if you do not possess an existing Representatives Notification Framework (RNF) Register in Singapore, you will be required to sit for Client Advisor Competency Standards (CACS) Paper 1 & 2, in order to get registered as a Representative with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the private banking industry.

2. Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines.

3. Strong knowledge of relevant financial markets and instruments.

4. Proficiency in Thai language skills is preferred as there will be frequent interaction with Thai speaking clients and stakeholders.
