As an Associate / Analyst in the Sales Support Team, you will support our Hong Kong Intermediary Business, based in Taiwan. The Intermediary Business sells investment products through non-affiliated intermediaries (for example securities firms, banks, financial planners, insurance companies), who in turns sell these products to individual investors.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assist Client Advisors on client enquiries, client templates to ensure that we provide top notch service and support to our distributors
  • Work with RFP team to ensure all product templates are completed promptly and accurately
  • Represent Intermediary Sales team on various projects meetings. Understand the potential business/client impact on various projects and proactively work with internal working groups to resolve the issues and facilitate the project roll out
  • Formulate internal Standard Operation Procedure for matters related to day-to-day routine of the business
  • Oversee and work closely with investment, marketing, compliance teams to ensure all sales related materials are accurate and compliance friendly

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • University graduate in Business, Finance and/or related discipline
  • 4 years of experience in financial industry, preferably with Asset Management business background. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst.
  • Good team player whilst able to work independently and deliver works with high accuracy
  • Good analytical skills and can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and investment products, with sound knowledge in funds
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent communications in both English and Cantonese (spoken and written) as essential requirement for the client coverage
  • Strong in Excel, PowerPoint is a must

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Professional qualification in CFA would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Morningstar, Bloomberg would be an advantage
