Risk Associate [Multiple Positions Available]
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Gather clear requirements and write user stories and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand use cases, pain points, and trends in the marketplace. Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements and develop user journeys and other artifacts. Identify critical issues and present recommendations for resolution. Provide product demos, conduct product review and feedback sessions, and ensure feedback is incorporated into roadmaps. Ensure new features are implemented according to specifications, released on schedule, and issues are remediated in a timely manner. Own end-to-end delivery including writing the requirements, defining the feature scope, testing and delivery. Participate in the design, architecture, and implementation of the firm's next generation risk analytics. Work with technology and the business on the development of its strategic platform as well as support the implementation and integration of models into the firm's delivery platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Industrial Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Risk Associate, Product Owner, Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, System Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Risk Associate, Product Owner, Software Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, System Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: designing and implementing technology solutions for the financial services or fintech industry, including regulatory compliance and risk management; leading product management or development initiatives, including strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and market analysis; managing stakeholder priorities and negotiating conflicting priorities to ensure alignment with organizational goals; driving product delivery with cross-functional teams and ensuring product goals and KPIs are met. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: leading technology product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and release activities; creating and maintaining product roadmaps that align with business objectives and customer needs; developing customer journey maps to visualize and enhance user experiences across various process touchpoints; utilizing story mapping techniques in Jira to prioritize features and ensure alignment with product goals; designing business process flow diagrams to streamline operations and improve efficiency; creating sample product prototypes to test and validate concepts before full-scale development; using Agile methodologies for leading iterative product development and using tools such as Jira to manage backlogs and track progress; using a data- driven decision-making approach, including leveraging large language model and machine learning analytics to inform product decisions and optimize performance.
