The International equity investment specialist role sits within the International Equity business. The International Equity Group oversees approximately $240b in client assets for institutions and individual investors throughout the world.

The primary function of the investment specialist role is to represent investment teams and strategies to internal partners, prospects and existing clients. The investment specialist is responsible for positioning/messaging product with the ultimate goal of driving business both in terms of new business and providing superior client service.

As the International Equities Investment Specialist within the International Equity business, you will represent our strategies across various client types and investment wrappers. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, client advisors, and many internal teams, including RFP, Marketing, Product Strategy, and Account Management, to promote business growth and deliver superior client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key representative for multiple investment teams and strategies to internal partners, prospects, and existing clients across both institutional and advisor businesses.
  • Foster strong partnerships with portfolio managers, research analysts, and other investors to align strategies and achieve common goals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling product messaging to drive new business, retain existing assets, and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate strong capital markets acumen, effectively communicating on macroeconomic environments, industry trends, and current events.
  • Lead new product initiatives, requiring consensus building across product development, distribution management, and portfolio management.
  • Oversee the end-to-end client onboarding process, including negotiating investment management agreements, fee schedules, client reporting, and investment guidelines

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 8+ years of significant capital markets experience with a strong understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Series 7 & 63 will be required
  • Proven experience in presenting in front of large audiences
  • Demonstrated ability in project management and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of international equities
  • Exceptional written communication
  • Proficient in investment performance, performance composites, attribution, and advisory/model delivery relationships.
  • Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • CFA or comparable preferred
  • Python preferred
  • Self-motivated, confident, and a team player with strong people management skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving, with flexibility to tailor messages based on audience and market conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective liaison with numerous groups within JPMAM.
