Join our dynamic Finance team in London and play a pivotal role in supporting the EMEA sales channels within our Asset Management division. As a Finance Analyst in the EMEA Asset Management Finance team, you will deliver value-added financial reporting, planning, and analysis to support our Institutional and Retail sales teams. You will work closely with EMEA Client CFOs, the Financial Planning & Analysis team, and sales managers to help drive business performance and achieve key priorities. You will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the Asset Management business and contribute to strategic decision-making. Together, we will enhance financial outcomes and foster a collaborative team environment.
Job responsibilities
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reporting and analysis for senior management.
- Prepare materials for business reviews and key presentations.
- Perform variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial results versus forecasts and budgets.
- Produce monthly flows forecasts and assist with the annual flows budget process.
- Review and analyze results from the Asset Management activity-based costing model.
- Coordinate the production of sales metric scorecards to track individual and team performance.
- Collaborate with EMEA Client CFOs, FP&A, and sales teams to support business objectives.
- Drive projects to enhance global consistency, streamline processes, and introduce automation.
- Support the implementation and effective use of MIS reporting systems.
- Maintain strong controls and ensure data accuracy in all reporting and analysis.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Significant experience in Financial Services.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial applications such as Essbase and Alteryx.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
- Highly motivated, diligent, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and utilize MIS reporting systems.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and ability to link results to business activities.
- Team player who builds trusted partnerships with Business, Finance, and FP&A teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or MBA.
- Experience with Tableau or Python.
- Experience supporting sales teams or working in Asset Management.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and automation.
- Enthusiastic, inquisitive, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working in a global or regional finance team.
- Ability to challenge peers constructively and contribute to a positive team culture.
