Job Summary:
As an Associate/AVP in Product team, you will be an energetic, strategic thinker with deep Fund Services expertise who can define, develop, and deliver market‑leading products that enhance client satisfaction, support sustainable business growth, and deliver positive shareholder value add. You are resourceful and execution‑driven, with strong cross‑functional/business collaboration skills to work across multiple teams within the bank. The role requires the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations, present and defend these to a variety of audiences, and manage multiple projects simultaneously through to effective completion. You will actively participate in client pitches as the fund services expert, leveraging a deep background in fund accounting and/or administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with Fund Services teams, clients, internal business partners, external vendors, and industry forums to manage, support, and grow product offerings.
- Participate in complex Fund Services change programs with significant scale, complexity, and budgets.
- Apply critical thinking to understand requirements; identify, evaluate, and propose solutions with sustainable processes and appropriate controls.
- Drive requirements elicitation, definition, documentation, sign‑off, and traceability to required quality levels.
- Construct, design, implement, and maintain program governance tailored to each initiative; challenge current processes and organization to improve profitability, controls, scalability, and market positioning.
- Lead program workstreams across technology and operations; manage dependencies, risks, issues, and milestones to successful completion.
- Hold partners accountable and keep development aligned to the strategic plan to ensure investment discipline.
- Provide timely, accurate verbal and written status updates to senior management; maintain and archive program artifacts per standards.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of existing product capabilities and design innovative, scalable solutions to capture new opportunities.
- Participate in client pitches and solutioning as the TFS expert leveraging deep fund accounting and/or administration expertise.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Possess Fund Accounting experience with strong marketplace understanding from product development, operations, or client‑facing servicing roles.
- Demonstrate TFS servicing expertise from operations, client service, product development, fund accounting, or custody.
- Understand diverse and complex technology and operations infrastructures and map proposed product solutions across the platform.
- Analyze complex issues and translate varied inputs into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Experiencing managing programs/projects for 3+ years using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Execute strategically from definition and design through implementation with accountability and strong delivery discipline.
- Collaborate effectively across functions and businesses, building strong relationships and solving problems constructively.
- Communicate clearly with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills; present and defend recommendations to varied audiences.
- Prepare high‑quality materials independently and present confidently in multiple settings.
- Apply in‑depth practical understanding of Fund Accounting and Alternative Investments across onshore and offshore locations.
- Use Microsoft Office (including Visio and Project) proficiently.
