As a Senior Product Associate in Talent Acquisition, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- Collaborates with engineering, data and design teams to deliver high-impact product features.
- Supports product launch activities and go-to-market planning.
- Utilizes data analytics and experimentation to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitors industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Fosters team alignment, collaboration, and continuous improvement by actively applying agile methodologies and facilitating agile ceremonies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevant experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of translating data into actionable insights
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated customer focus and ability to advocate for user needs.
- Hands-on experience working in agile or scrum environments
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience using product management tools such as Jira or Confluence
- Technical background or understanding of software development concepts
- Advanced data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Python)
- Talent acquisition experience preferred; leverages strategic insights to inform product decisions and drive innovative solutions that enhance the hiring process
