From our offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, J.P. Morgan’s Asia Private Bank serves the complex wealth management needs of ultra-high net worth clients in countries across the region.

As a Service Delivery Vice President within the Asia Private Banking Operations team, you will provide first‑class investment operations services support to the business, representing Operations to collaborate with stakeholders in meeting client needs. You will partner closely with Business stakeholders, Risk and Control partners, Compliance, and Operations teams to enable the Asia Private Banking business to scale in a controlled manner through strong governance, proactive engagement, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with front office, aligning market demands with operational capabilities to meet business needs.
  • Support the business on all operational matters to deliver first‑class client experiences.
  • Prepare and present key operational metrics for proactive engagement with the business, using feedback and insights to drive continued improvements and innovation.
  • Take ownership of issues and exceptions and drive them to logical resolution.
  • Escalate control breaches to senior management in a timely manner.
  • Use data and trends to identify process weaknesses and gaps in controls.
  • Identify and drive process improvement / automation initiatives and efficiency opportunities with respective Operations teams, leveraging intelligent automation tools.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance or related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of operational experience.
  • People management skills and knowledge across products, processes, and trade lifecycle.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a partnership mindset and the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly disciplined self‑starter with adaptability to learn new tasks and willingness to understand process details.
  • Strong ownership with the ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment, applying creative and strategic thinking to drive solutions, initiatives, and projects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with operations, with people management skills, knowledge across product and processes within Private Bank.
  • Knowledge of Temenos will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx CORE certification is a plus.
  • Client facing experience is desirable.
  • Understanding of custody n markets are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is desirable.
