Job Summary:
As a Senior Lead Software Engineer in the Cloud Financial Management team, you will drive significant business impact through your technical contributions and leadership. You will provide guidance and direction to technical teams, develop secure and high-quality code, and influence decisions that shape product design and operations. You will serve as a subject matter expert, advocate for firmwide engineering practices, and foster a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and direction to support business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.

  • Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.

  • Drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus.

  • Contribute to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices.

  • Influence peers and project decision-makers to adopt leading-edge technologies.

  • Add to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

  • Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, Node.js, React, SQL.

  • Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with in-depth expertise in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile).

  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently.

  • Practical cloud native experience.

  • Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience leading teams in a large, complex organization.

  • Familiarity with modern cloud technologies and deployment practices.

  • Experience mentoring and coaching engineers.

  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.

  • Experience with financial management platforms or related domains.
