We are searching for the best talent for a Maintenance Coordinator.
This position is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement in a union environment and the hourly rate is $32.67/hr
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities for craft personnel, mechanics, electricians, and calibrations technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Must read, interpret, and follow work instructions and training materials.
- Pass and maintain training and certification examinations as required.
- Review of work orders to identify all planned maintenance activities.
- Research backlog work orders and identify those with available parts and resources.
- Maintain an up to date backlog, ensuring that completed items are removed from the backlog in a timely manner.
- Lead weekly cross-functional planning meeting to develop weekly master schedule.
- Publish weekly schedule and communicate to manufacturing and craft facilitators.
- Coordinate outages with other maintenance coordinators.
- Develop and publish maintenance metrics.
- Assist to resolve poor performing metrics.
- Ability to review maintenance procedures and suggest / make improvements and additions.
- Will act as a backup for other maintenance coordinators to cover absenteeism.
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Maximo (CMMS).
- Commit, drive and ensure compliance in accordance with Health Care Compliance Guidelines, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) responsibilities, Associate Training and Documentation Operating Procedure, and Records Management Compliance.
- Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (for example, ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).
Qualifications:
Required
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated abilities as craft mechanic or electrician with skill level commensurate at the craft “A” level.
- Certified to Work Keys at a mechanic standard of level 5 on all modules.
- Demonstrate ability to operate Maximo system for data entry / retrieval at a craft responsibility level (open work orders, document all required info including fault codes, complete work orders, search in required fields to find open work orders).
- Demonstrate ability to operate Microsoft Excel for data entry and interpretation (Open selected files given location, read and interpret data as displayed, tabular and graphically).
- Strong record of accomplishment in the maintenance fields.
Preferred
- Experience with leading a cross functional team to develop a work plan. Experience or formal training in maintenance planning.
- CMRP, MRG, Lean Certification.
