Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Finance Intern – Credit Analyst, from August to December 2026, located in Manila, Philippines.

Job Summary

The Credit Analyst Intern supports the Credit Team in evaluating the creditworthiness of new and existing customers. This role provides hands-on exposure to credit analysis, risk assessment, and credit operations while developing foundational skills in financial analysis and risk management. The intern will work closely with senior credit analysts and cross-functional partners to support informed credit decisions and protect the company’s financial interests.

Key Responsibilities1. Credit Analysis Support

  • Assist in preparing credit reviews for new and existing customers using financial statements, credit bureau reports, and publicly available information.
  • Support annual portfolio reviews by gathering data, organizing documentation, and performing preliminary analysis under supervision.
  • Help document recommended credit limits and risk indicators based on established credit policies and guidance from senior analysts.
  • Support ad hoc credit requests by collecting required financial and commercial documentation.
  • Collaborate with Collections and Commercial teams to ensure credit files are complete and up to date.

2. Risk Management Support

  • Assist in maintaining credit documentation and ensuring compliance with approved credit policies and procedures.
  • Help monitor customer exposure and flag potential risk indicators for further review by the Credit Team.
  • Support data validation and basic maintenance of internal credit tools, reports, or trackers.

3. Reporting

  • Assist in the preparation of routine credit reports, such as Credit Limit Edit Reports and Payment Terms or Baseline Date Edit Reports.
  • Help ensure data accuracy and consistency in reports used by Credit and Finance leadership.

Collaboration & Learning:

  • Work closely with senior credit analysts to learn credit evaluation methodologies and best practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including Collections, Commercial Teams, and Finance to understand end-to-end credit and order-to-cash processes.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process improvement discussions.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of financial statements
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in Credit Risk, Financial Analysis, or Risk Management
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or audit-related documentation (academic or internship based) is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
