Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Director, NA Surgery Transcend Commerical – Johnson & Johnson Med Tech Surgery to join our team located in Raritan, New Jersey.

Modernizing our commercial model, including systems and data ecosystem, is a critical growth accelerator for J&J Med Tech Surgery. The Director, Transcend Commercial lead represents Surgery Med Tech NA for all relevant Commercial functions on TranSCend for NA OTC, and ensures successful go lives appropriately meet business needs. Scope includes US & Canada WC, BIO, EN, EM, Monarch & Mentor business platforms and will help enable Polyphonic and OTTAVA as well. The position will reside within the Digital & Commercial Innovation team and serve work with and coordinate SMEs across functions.

Role scope includes:

  • Organize and guide SMEs and cross-functional teams to drive commercial readiness through flawless execution for Surgery.

  • Verify effective and efficient operations and find opportunities for process improvement, delivering on Surgery commercial needs in deployment plan.

  • Represent Commercial needs and prioritize design and build objects, accept working software, and serve as DRI for the governance and development of respective Commercial processes across Surgery.

  • Collaborate with the Sr Director Transcend NA OTC lead aligning on Commercial business processes.

  • Collaborate with Commercial IT, Data Strategies/Engineering, Butterfly program leads to assess the full ecosystem impact and define optimal end-state solutions, including interdependencies with Butterfly Commercial processes.

  • Lead continuity of Commercial processes: Commercial related data (Sales Rep Alignment, Sales policies, Surgeon ID), Contracting, Ecosystem impacts sign off on operational readiness for cutover. Ensure inputs/outputs (e.g. commercial reporting, business processes) into TranSCend program are intact as part of transition.

  • Primary cross-functional teams and stakeholders include: Commercial Operations, Commercial Leadership, Data Strategies, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Commercial Field Sales Organization, Key Account Management, Contract strategy & execution, Distribution Channels, Contract Solutions (HCS), Butterfly program, among others

  • Define the timeline and interdependencies/critical path associated with the implementation of customer impacting items, Lead discussions on risks/mitigations/alternatives with a broad group of cross-functional teams.

  • Report operational key performance indicators to the executive dashboard and co‑sign Go/No‑Go readiness gates with Digital and Commercial leaders.

  • Responsible for planning in coordination with Transcend program leadership – to include ensuring key SME resources are identified and engaged to guide timely, critical inputs and validation.

  • Collaborate with Transcend program leadership and various program resources regarding commercial impacts, plans, and approaches to drive program deployment and enable business continuity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 12+ years of experience within Med Tech Commercial Processes

  • 10+ years people management experience

  • Ability to drive alignment and address issues across multiple parties with conflicting views

  • Have prior healthcare/Medtech industry expertise and product knowledge

  • Take a pragmatic/ economic view while prioritizing functionality—make trade-offs to advance program and drive business

  • Clear communication with end users and project teams

  • Champion the project solution and frame changes in a way that engages and excites the end user community

Pay info :

US: $150,000 - $258,750

"This is a Duration based role with an anticipated end date of January 2028 and is eligibile for severance".

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$150,000.00 - $258,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
