Job Description:
The IT Manager – Technical Product Owner, AI & Analytics will join the Quality Compliance and Sustainability (QCS) group within the Corporate Business Technology (CBT) organization.
This role combines technical product ownership with hands-on engineering leadership to deliver scalable Generative and Agentic AI solutions that transform enterprise content management systems, quality management systems, and compliance workflows. You will partner with IT peers, external vendors, business product owners, technology services, and finance teams to deliver high-impact analytics products that meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
- In partnership with the Business Product Owner and Technology Services Software Engineering, define and own the product vision and roadmap for Generative and Agentic AI solutions, ensuring alignment with QCS and CBT strategic objectives and measurable business outcomes (e.g., improved compliance, operational efficiency).
- Further refine the backlog by adding necessary technical features and epics; work with Suppliers and Product owners, regarding supplier delivered capacity & architectural integration is understood.
- Help Product Owners prioritize their backlogs, manage product and platform constraints and resolve cross-team dependencies; manage demand intake as required.
- Accountability for overall delivery effort, including DevOps upon project/product release.
- Engage in an Office Operations role to process onboarding and off boarding of stable team resources; implement necessary ISRM, Asset management and other items.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure adoption, impact, and continuous improvement of Generative and Agentic AI solutions capabilities.
- Translate business needs into prioritized user stories and technical requirements for development squads.
- Manage and maintain a clear, prioritized product backlog focused on delivering measurable business value.
- Drive adoption of Generative and Agentic AI solutions capabilities across enterprise content and quality management systems.
Solutioning & Delivery
- Co-Lead the design and delivery of scalable AI solutions, including LLMs, AI agents, and cloud-native data platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, compliance, and security standards.
- Oversee end-to-end solution lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
- Lead efforts to ensure all solutions meet regulatory, CSV, and GxP compliance, including collaboration with regulatory and legal teams.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to AI deployments, with a focus on data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices.
People & Organizational Leadership
- Foster a culture of innovation and data-driven decision-making within the product team.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive team culture across a matrix organization.
- Mentor and guide team members on AI technologies, agile practices, and product management best practices.
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders (IT peers, business product owners, technology services, finance), external vendors and Business partners.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Prior product management experience in IT or Business domains.
- Experience in healthcare or life sciences domain.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or technical leadership roles, with at least 3 years in AI/ML or advanced analytics.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale AI solutions in regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, data engineering, and MLOps.
- Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and backlog management tools (Jira).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
- Ability to influence without authority and drive organizational change.
Preferred
- Master's degree in data science, AI, or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies, LLM fine-tuning, and AI agent frameworks.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GxP, FDA, EU MDR, GDPR, HIPAA) and risk management in AI deployments.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or AI Product Management.
- Experience with emerging AI technologies (e.g., federated learning, synthetic data generation).

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
