Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Stores Controller / Warehouse Manager to lead and transform our warehouse and stores operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient inventory management, material availability, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The incumbent will play a key role in driving process improvements, leading operational change, and supporting business and service delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end stores and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, issuing, dispatch, and logistics coordination
- Ensure accurate inventory control, stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and variance investigations
- Implement best‑in‑class warehouse processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and space utilization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business transformation goals
- Enforce Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality compliance standards across warehouse activities
- Manage and develop warehouse and stores staff, providing coaching, performance management, and succession planning
- Collaborate with procurement, project, service, and operations teams to ensure timely material availability
- Maintain warehouse systems, documentation, and reporting (KPIs, audits, stock levels, aging analysis)
- Support O&M and field service teams by ensuring materials and spares are available as required
- Act as a change agent, embedding disciplined inventory practices and process maturity
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in warehouse / stores operations, including people management
- Proven experience in inventory control, stores governance, and warehouse process improvement
- Strong knowledge of ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Experience supporting manufacturing, projects, or service operations is preferred
- Exposure to HVAC, industrial, or engineering environments is an advantage.
- Forklift experience would be an added advantage.
