What We Look For

• 3–5 years of experience in IT Operations, ITSM, or Cybersecurity with hands‑on work in environments involving endpoints, networks, identity platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Foundational understanding of network fundamentals, security fundamentals, and identity fundamentals.
• Experience working with IT operational processes including asset inventories, CMDB accuracy, incident, problem, and change management.
• Strong analytical skills for investigating data issues and correlating attributes across systems.
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft SC‑900, AZ‑900, or MD‑102.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for the operation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management platform. The ideal candidate combines foundational cybersecurity and ITSM knowledge with strong data analysis skills and a passion for accurate, automated, and comprehensive asset inventories.

Key Responsibilities

Axonius Platform Operations

• Administer, configure, and maintain the Axonius platform, including adapters, data sources, dashboards, queries, and policies.
• Install, configure, and monitor Axonius gateway and API connector nodes.
• Troubleshoot adapter failures, data ingestion issues, API errors, and platform performance concerns.
• Manage platform upgrades, health checks, and routine operational tasks.

Data Quality & Asset Intelligence

• Build and maintain queries supporting visibility, compliance reporting, and security use cases.
• Perform data validation to ensure asset completeness and accuracy across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, and CMDB sources.
• Identify inconsistent or missing data and work with system owners to resolve issues.
• Support ownership mapping, tagging strategies, and attribute normalization efforts.

Security & ITSM Support

• Partner with security, endpoint, vulnerability, identity, network, and CMDB teams to enhance asset fidelity.
• Provide accurate asset reports for patching, configuration compliance, incident response, and audit functions.
• Support enforcement sets, alerting rules, and automated workflows where appropriate.

Reporting & Dashboards

• Create operational dashboards for asset coverage, data health, adapter performance, and compliance metrics.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc reports for cybersecurity leadership.
• Document runbooks, troubleshooting guides, configurations, and operational procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to enterprise systems such as Microsoft Entra ID/AD, Service Now CMDB, endpoint management tools, and security platforms.
• Familiarity with APIs, JSON, or basic scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Understanding of frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or Zero Trust principles.

• Axonius Operator or Administrator training
