We are currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our Napier team!

What You’ll Do

  • Install, commission, service, and test fire sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, and special hazard systems

  • Represent Wormald on-site in a professional and customer-focused manner

  • Ensure installations align with supplied drawings, specifications, and project requirements

How You’ll Succeed

  • Actively participate in internal and external training to grow your skills

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for our products, services, and safety commitment

  • Bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and alignment with company values

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in the fire protection industry OR 3+ years’ plumbing experience

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings

  • Competency in fitting pipes, valves, pumps, and firefighting system components

  • NZ residency/citizenship or a valid New Zealand work visa

  • Candidates overseas with relevant skills and knowledge of NZ fire standards are welcome to apply

Additional Requirements

Pre‑employment checks form part of our process, including:

  • Reference checks

  • Medical assessment

  • Criminal record check

  • Drug & alcohol testing
